On a fabulous professional women’s photography forum I belong to, a bunch of us have decided to collaborate on a great photography project for 2011 – and here it is!
My World/Your World
Teaming up with other photographers is a great way to keep yourself motivated. If someone is relying on you to produce something you are less likely to fail. Try teaming up with someone across the pond, country, or state and make a commitment to photograph something everyday or once a week and you both share it on a mutual blog as a diptych. Two views from two photographers leading different lives being displayed right next to each other for the world to see. I love it. By the way, this is a great way to get back in touch with an old friend or classmate.
This week we’ve chosen the topic resolution as the inspiration. I’m teamed up with the fabulous St. Louis photographer Kacey Pickens – and no, we didn’t plan on teaming up because of our name similarities!

This week’s topic is resolution and my perpetual one is to enjoy life and the people in it. What better way to do so than to run out with the kids and enjoy some ice cream – especially mine, which is the “Up All Night” sundae – coffee ice cream and syrup with chocolate whipped cream and chocolate covered espresso bean. Oh dear, it was amaaaazing.
PS – this one is specifically for Kacey – she also writes a personal blog at Wine On The Keyboard and I thought this puzzle would be enjoyable and also infuriating at the same time.

Kay Kacey Pickens - LOL, love LOVE the wine puzzle. Though I’m not sure I’d like to have to figure a puzzle out to get to my wine! This My World/Your World is going to be such fun!
